Spring has arrived at BestStart Styx Mill
We have been focusing on Relationships and Belonging. To help our tamariki feel a sense of belonging we guide and encourage them to take part in caring for this place. This past week tamariki from the Tipu and Pihinga rooms were excited to plant a variety of seeds which we will transfer into our new garden soon.
We have also planted two feijoa trees and some strawberry plants, the tamariki enjoyed digging the holes, and planting the trees. They are enjoying watering them each day. We look forward to harvesting fresh vegetables for our kai table and of course feijoa and strawberries.
