Springlands ANZAC commemoration
For ANZAC 2019 at ABC Springlands we baked some ANZAC cookies in each room, measuring out ingredients and watching them create a dough before our eyes. After creating this mixture the children helped us roll and tray up the biscuits to be cooked. That night we shared our freshly made biscuits with our parents as we joined together to create a wreath. Children were able to decorate and place flowers within the wreath as they mingled with their parents and friends. The next day the teachers and families joined again at the ANZAC parade to present this special wreath as part of the towns ANZAC memorial service.
