Our tamariki enjoy using non-verbal and verbal communication and a variety of creative modes to express feelings, ideas to create and retell the story in many special ways.

Some of the learning experiences and creative modes the tamariki have used so far are; made magic potions with bath bombs, (science), made our own puppets, puppet theatre and puppet shows, (visual arts), made wands, (carpentry), created forests with play dough, rosemary and lavender, (sensory play), reused brooms for broom stick races, (dramatic and imaginary play) and currently are making drawings for a book that will tell the children’s own version of the story, (visual arts and story- telling).
