Such mana, so proud
Wow, what a magical morning we had being welcomed into Room 2 - Whaea Hayley's class at Paraparaumu School. When we arrived at Paraparaumu Beach School, Antonio showed great mana as he took the leaders role in the calling as we were welcomed onto the school by the tamariki in Room 2. What an AMAZING job he did, supported by his whanau! The tamariki then shared their song that they had been practising before they got to have a shared kai and then got to explore the different environment.
What great mana and whanaungatanga our tamariki showed as we start to build a respectful working relationship with the Paraparaumu School, affirming Maori culture, values and customs.
