Taken over by Pirates at BestStart Sunset
Arrrrrr me hearty's! today BestStart Sunset was taken over by Pirates. As it is "international talk like a pirate day", we all became Pirates for the day.
Over the past few days, we have been busy making Pirate hats, ships and of course the map to the treasure that all good Pirates need. Soon it was time for our next challenge of finding our hidden treasure. Hmm where did we leave it? That’s right we needed our treasure map to follow. Off on our treasure hunt we went, using our listening skills, working together to find the next clue.
Along the way we needed to follow the path, over bridges through tunnels, climbed mountains, pull ourselves along with the rope, into caves over bubbly puddles, through the snow (we did get a little sidetracked with the snow), walked the plank, through the vines, through the fog over more mountains. Once we were through, we needed to find our X. But there was a problem, we had too many x's in our spot. Which one was it in?
Then our fun began we began to dig to find our treasure, our little Pirates helped each other to dig for the treasure. Once we all discovered our treasure, we share it between us, sitting down together to chat about our adventure and enjoy our treats and to sing our Pirate song.
