On Friday 16th April 2021 we were fortunate enough to be part of a BestStart Rippa Rugby Training Day at Tamahere Park in Kirikiriroa.

The day was clear with some wind. Tawhirimatea showed his face by blowing the gazebo over the fence, however it did survive well.

Ngà tamariki enjoyed the opportunity to put their skills to the test, in preparation for the big BestStart Rippa Rugby Tournament to come this year.

For BestStart Dixon Heights, this amazing day makes links to our Centre Planning of "Our Wider Community ", our Centre Priority of "Whanaungatanga" and our Centre Vision of "Nurture Through Nature".

A wonderful opportunity to build special relationships with whànau, other BestStart kaiako and to see our own BestStart tamariki flourish outside of the centre environment .
