Value of learning through play
Play-based learning is important to our children's development at BestStart Heuheu Street. We value the importance of our tamariki developing social and emotional skills, such as the ability to develop positive relationships with their peers. As children play together, they learn to get along with one another, cooperate, communicate effectively, problem solve and resolve conflicts.
By Nurturing responsive and reciprocal relationships between kaiako, tamariki, and their whanau, we support our tamariki to become active learners within the learning space.
