Waltham's Gold Healthy Heart Award
Today we had Mikaela and Natasha from Healthy Heart come and present us with our Gold Badge Award! They also took a mat time and talked about our hearts and how healthy eating and active movement help us have healthy hearts. The children were very active in the mat time and were able to identify where their heart is, and had a lot of great ideas about what we can eat and do to keep our bodies healthy.
We really appreciate our parents and whanau for giving us their support and collaboration in this award. Especially with ensuring that their child has healthy food in their lunchboxes each day.
