We had a visit from our local fire fighters
Today we were lucky enough to have our local Fire Fighters come and visit us at Preschool. They put on their fire uniforms, and talked us through each part of it, and how it keeps their bodies safe. The children asked lots of great questions. They also told us what number to call if we have a fire at home and to make sure we listen to the adults in a fire. The children all listened with their amazing listening ears.
We really enjoy having such a great community connection with our local fire fighters. The children absolutely loved this experience, they even got to be fire fighters themselves, holding the hose and squiring the water! What a fun learning experience! The children can't wait to tell their families all about it when they get picked up tonight, sharing their newly gained knowledge and experience!
