Welcome to 2026 at BestStart Kenderdine – our Garden of Learning. As we step into a new year filled with sunshine, warmer days, and fresh possibilities, we are excited to continue creating meaningful and joyful learning experiences for our tamariki.
The warmer months invite us outdoors, with days filled with water play, nature exploration, messy creativity, and plenty of laughter. Whether splashing, digging, painting, or experimenting with natural materials, our outdoor environment offers endless opportunities for discovery.
While these experiences may look messy, they are rich with learning. They support curiosity, problem-solving, physical development, and social skills, while encouraging tamariki to explore and learn through hands-on play.
We are also looking forward to some exciting events this year. Our Summer Carnival will be a fun-filled celebration for tamariki and whānau, complete with games, laughter, and ice cream for everyone to enjoy. We will also host Nature Scientist Day, where tamariki will explore and investigate the natural world through hands-on science experiences and discovery-based play.
As the year unfolds, we look forward to partnering closely with our whānau, celebrating milestones, exploring new ideas, and nurturing strong relationships. Together, we will continue to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child feels valued and supported.
