BestStart Waikanae is made up of two rooms - Anuhe is a space for up to 15 under two year olds. Kaiako in Anuhe work closely alongside tamariki and their whanau ensuring their needs are met.  The room is set up to allow for free movement and to support tamariki learning and development.  The focus in Anuhe is learning through play, kaiako recognise the importance of play and tamariki are provided opportunities to explore, investigate and revisit

We have a beautiful outdoor space where tamariki can climb, crawl and explore alongside each other.  

The small group size means that kaiako and tamariki form strong trusting relationships - it's like a home away from home.

At BestStart Waikanae we have an open-door policy and we invite you to come in and have a visit anytime. If you are looking for a centre for your precious taonga/treasure, come and see us!
