As part of our exciting School Holiday Programme, our tamariki recently enjoyed another successful bike trip to the park!

It was an experience we proudly organise every school holidays to encourage active play, confidence, and real-world learning.

From the moment we prepared to leave, the children demonstrated fantastic responsibility and teamwork. Fully geared up with their helmets and safety equipment, our tamariki showed a strong understanding of keeping themselves and others safe while out in the community.

One of the highlights of the trip was seeing the children line up so beautifully, wait patiently for their turns, and follow instructions with care and confidence. These moments reflect the positive relationships, self-management skills, and growing independence we continue to nurture within our learning environment.

At the park, tamariki enjoyed riding their bikes, exploring the surroundings, and engaging in meaningful social interactions with their peers. Experiences like these support the development of physical coordination, resilience, road safety awareness, and cooperative play — all while having fun outdoors.

Our regular park trips during the school holiday programme have become a much-loved tradition, creating memorable experiences for tamariki while strengthening their confidence and sense of belonging in the wider community.

We are incredibly proud of how capable, respectful, and responsible our tamariki were throughout the adventure.
