Yesterday, our centre came alive with a vibrant splash of yellow as we proudly supported Daffodil Day by holding a special Yellow Day.
It was truly heartwarming to see everyone dressed in bright yellow—from cheerful shirts and dresses to fun accessories—creating a sea of sunshine that filled our space with positivity and joy.
Yellow Day was more than just a fun dress-up event; it was an opportunity for us to come together and reflect on the powerful symbol of the daffodil.
Representing hope and support for those who are unwell, the daffodil reminded us of the importance of kindness, empathy, and community spirit.
Throughout the day, we had gentle and thoughtful conversations with the children about why we chose yellow and what it means to support those who are sick. It was inspiring to see the children engage with these ideas in their own unique and meaningful ways.
We want to extend a huge thank you to all our families for embracing Yellow Day and helping us show our support for this important cause.
Your enthusiasm and kindness truly made the day special. Arohanui,
