At BestStart Pinnacles in Wānaka, we celebrate the joy of learning through play!

Nestled in the stunning alpine landscape of Wānaka, our centre offers a warm, welcoming environment where tamariki are free to explore, discover, and grow. Our passionate, nurturing team is dedicated to creating a safe and engaging space that feels like a second home. Under inspired new leadership, we are striving to stand up and stand out as one of New Zealand’s most trusted and loved early learning centres.

Play-Based Philosophy
We believe children learn best when they feel safe, empowered, and connected. Our programme is guided by Te Whāriki, New Zealand’s early childhood curriculum, and is shaped around the unique interests, strengths, and developmental stages of each child. Through play, children build confidence, develop social and problem-solving skills, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
