I will admit I was nervous to move my boys from their current centre, and I communicated this to the team, but the caring and loving support both myself and my boys got was so genuine.

My three boys attend BestStart Barrington. We attended an open day and were welcomed by the very friendly staff and given a tour of the amazing facilities that they have on offer. We were told to come back to more open days to help the boys settle in before their first day, which we did. Nothing was an issue. Coming from another centre I was concerned about how they would settle, however on their first day they ran in without any hesitation. I put this down to the welcoming vibe and the wonderful staff in the centre.

I would like to thank the staff at BestStart Barrington for all of their hard work in settling my child into the centre. He can be a very shy person, and the teachers were able to bring him out of his shell and make him feel at home quickly. He is excited each day to go to “school” and loves all of the teachers. We talk about who he plays with and he has so many friends, it is lovely to see him making these connections and building these relationships!

We are so stoked to be at Barrington. Hēmi used to refuse to go to his old day care, now he looks forward to going every morning which makes our household a much happier place in the mornings. I can tell Hēmi loves it as he talks about his Kaiako at home all the time and his new best friends. I am absolutely over the moon with how he has transitioned. We were so worried that the change would be really overwhelming but everyone made him feel so welcome and its been super easy.

Since first walking in the doors of BestStart Barrington, there was a feeling of comfort. I was greeted with kindness and a level of profession unlike other daycare centers. When inquiring to place my daughter in care the lovely lady that I was speaking with was very clear and gave very detailed information about BestStart. We were shown around the facility while creating conversation an engaging with us going through everything which made it so much easier to choose this center. I am absolutely happy with the communication on all levels a profession that these ladies provide ensuring my daughter is well looked after. I would highly recommend without hesitation.

BestStart Barrington is like a second home/family for my daughter. From the first day I took her to now they have help her grow and develop new and exciting skills and achieve milestones. They have watched her go from crawling to walking to running to talking etc Nothing is ever an issue. Need to talk about your child’s development no problem, need to know what they need help with outside of the centre no problem. All staff are extremely kind caring and encouraging.

Everything about our journey has been so lovely. The staff at BestStart Barrington are so welcoming and took the time to learn our child’s routine and always keep us up to date via Storypark. We were new to the daycare system and they explained everything and were happy to answer all of our -sometimes silly – questions about how everything works!

My daughter has been attending BestStart Barrington for a few months now, since she was 6 months old. I've been really happy to watch her blossom and grow constantly, especially with the focussed learning stages that she gets taken through to help her acclimatize, and socialise with other kids her age. I love getting photos and updates every few days showing the activities and play the infants have together and seeing how much fun she is having there. It also really shows how much she enjoys her time at BestStart Barrington when she gives her teachers a big hug when we're dropping her off or picking her up which is reassuring to see that she's in a happy, safe and loving environment.

Hi team, wanted to let you know how impressed and happy we are with your help in regulating Adam’s emotions. The last month we have seen a massive improvement in his mood. He showed me his breathing techniques and his « mantra » which I found really amazing in building his confidence. We are backing all of these teachings at home as well. Overall, major improvements and we are very thankful for your patience!

Our daughter started in the Nursery at BestStart Barrington back in January when she was 8 months old. The Nursery teaching team have been so supportive with helping her settle in and implementing similar routines that we do at home. We receive regular updates of our daughters learning progress through storypark, which we just love to see and revisit with her later that day. The teachers are always friendly, warm and approachable and they always share the lovely learning moments our daughter had during the day. We have really enjoyed having our daughter at BestStart Barrington and highly recommend the centre to our friends and family!

Our daughter started a few months ago at 6 months and she settled in perfectly from the first day! All the staff are so friendly and caring and our daughter always has a big smile when we drop her off each morning! Jonnie, Kirsten, Sophie and the other wonderful ladies are not only super attentive and great at their jobs but you can feel the genuine Aroha they have for not only my tamariki but all the tamariki at the center it's a very safe and warm environment and Oasis has grown and learned so much since starting at Best Start Barrington.
They are also extra vigilant with his medical requirements too and that gives this worried Mum such relief. I can not fault the nursery at all they have exceeded my expectations and more and I brag and recommend this wonderful center as a collective to all my friends and whanau thank you all. Team, you guys rock and we love being apart of the Best Start Whānau
