BestStart Dey Street

BestStart Dey Street is a warm & welcoming Early Learning Centre located in Hamilton East. We provide award-winning childcare and early education for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers up until they are 6 years old. We offer daily nutritious meals and opening hours are between 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.

At BestStart Dey Street, we believe in the importance of coming together to celebrate our diverse cultures, identities, and what makes us unique. We engage in regular excursions to strengthen community relationships and often invite families to celebrate cultural events within the centre.

We work alongside families to create strong relationships between the centre, child & whanau. Within our centre, we encourage values of Manaakitanga and Whanaungatanga which supports children's development by encouraging them to make new friends, form reciprocal relationships, and create a sense of connectedness.

Our Team

Our multicultural team of teachers are passionate about supporting tamariki as they grow and learn. We value the relationships we have with our centre families and understand that trust is a huge part of what makes our centre feel like a home away from home. We work with whanau and engage in open conversation to keep you updated on your child's learning at each stage of their development.
