Love Me, Believe in Me, Teach Me

At BestStart Dixon Heights our centre vision “Love Me, Believe in Me, Teach me” is embedded in all that we do.

Our curriculum is inspired by the building of strong relationships and the making of special connections between our staff, tamariki and whānau.

We are environmentally minded and our Localised Curriculum focuses on the partnerships of our community and local council as kaitaiki (guardians) of Te Inuwai Park which is located straight across the road from the centre. Our local community is important to us and we engage in regular excursions to the local park to teach our tamariki how we can make a difference in looking after our land in Aotearoa New Zealand.
