At BestStart Elles Road, relationships and aroha are at the heart of everything we do.

We believe every child is a capable and competent learner, and we take time to truly listen, observe and respond to each tamaiti’s unique strengths, interests, culture and identity.

Through meaningful relationships and rich play-based experiences, tamariki are empowered to lead their own learning, explore at their own pace and develop confidence in who they are. Our curriculum is intentionally shaped by parent aspirations, children’s evolving curiosities and the cultural narratives of our whānau and community.

We are committed to nurturing kaitiakitanga and helping tamariki develop respect and care for the natural world through authentic experiences, including our Wild @ Heart Bush programme.
