Discover our unique rooms

BestStart Faringdon East is a purpose-built early learning centre with five specialised classrooms, giving tamariki spaces that are thoughtfully designed around their different ages and stages of development. Our large, spacious classrooms provide plenty of room for children to play, explore and learn in an environment that feels comfortable and inviting.

Our generous outdoor areas give children even more space to move, discover and challenge themselves through active play and hands-on experiences. Together, our indoor and outdoor environments create opportunities for tamariki to build confidence, independence and a love of learning as they grow.

Fern Room3 months - until walking (12-15 months)

Our youngest tamariki are cared for in a calm, nurturing and home-like environment where your pēpi can feel safe, secure and supported as they begin their early learning journey. Our kaiako take the time to get to know your baby and work closely with you, creating consistency between home and the centre.

  • Start with Heart: Our youngest tamariki are supported through responsive, nurturing relationships that build trust, emotional wellbeing and confidence from the very beginning.
  • Individual care: We take the time to understand your baby's unique cues, routines and needs, ensuring they receive thoughtful care that supports their development at their own pace.
  • Connected with whānau: Open communication with you throughout your child's day helps you stay connected and gives you confidence that your pēpi is happy, settled and well cared for.

Our goal is to create a home away from home where your baby can build secure relationships, explore their environment and take those important first steps towards independence.
