BestStart Faringdon East is a quality, education and care early childhood centre in the forever growing town of Rolleston - "the town of the future". The centre provides quality education and care for children aged between 3 months to 5 years old.

BestStart Faringdon East believe in making every day memorable and significant for the aiga (family), whanau and tamariki (children) in our community. 

We have five specialised rooms set up to support the development of children as they grow.

Pepi  - Our nurturing Pepi Room (3 months-walking) is a safe, clean space ready for your child to explore. We have a beautiful area specifically set up for non-mobile babies. In this area you will find lots of age appropriate toys with different textures, sounds and movement with an amazing outdoor area.

Nursery - As they grow they will be able to walk away from the Pepi area to discover the different ways they can explore and test themselves. The beautiful wooden climbing frame is always a favourite for our newly crawling to explore. Your toddler will be able to move between the indoor and outdoor environment where they will play alongside children their own age. Our teachers set up daily experiences which make children curious to learn and try new things.

Toddler 2-3 - The Toddler Room has a calming sleeping space where your child will go to rest. The teachers will follow their individual routine from home and feedback to you daily.

Preschool 3-4 - As your child grows, they will become a member of our calming and nurturing preschool. In here your child will find a world to discover, they will be able to freely explore the toys, develop friendships and find the magic in learning.

Preproom 4-5 - Here at BestStart Faringdon East we value the importance of children becoming independent and provide opportunities for your child throughout the day to learn these essential life skills. Children build confidence in themselves by completing these tasks and it also prepares them for school.

After trying many preschools , Beststart Faringdon East is the most welcoming, friendly Centre with awesome staff and children! I feel like I have become not only friends with the staff - but they are like family, which of course is what you want in a preschool..when you’re leaving your precious children there. Anytime I need to speak to the manager, she makes time and is also someone you can have a laugh with. My daughter always comes home with a smile on her face and can’t wait to go back. I recommend this preschool to everyone and cannot speak highly enough about it!

As soon as we walked in the door we knew that this was the place for our wee girl. The staff are incredible and the facilities are top notch. Matilda is learning and developing So well and Faringdon east has become her second home. We have never had a single tear on drop off (not even from mum!) as the staff make everyone feel so safe and welcome!
