In the Pepe Room (infants up to 2 years old) you will find a loving, nurturing space that feels like a home away from home. Each infant’s care routines are supported and their interests are stimulated through many interesting activities. Our large, safe play area is the backdrop for endless adventures as the infants grow into capable toddlers.

Our curious and bright toddlers in the Koru Room (2-3 years old) are often busy learning about the world by discovering with their senses. Sometimes this means getting messy and hands-on with activities such as waterplay, gloop, and getting creative with art supplies. We encourage learning through play, and these learners are busy building social skills to understand how their world works alongside others while being encouraged to make choices within a safe and protective environment.

At this end of the building are the incredible preschoolers (3-4 year olds). In the Nikau Room, these children build their confidence and self-help skills through daily activities. These children are often playing and learning in groups as they become more social and are beginning to create lifelong friendships.

Our oldest group of children are encouraged to discover who they are and to embrace their own interests. Teachers work closely with the children in the Tangiwai Room to prepare and support them as they continue on to the next step of their learning journey and transition into primary school.
