BestStart Girven Road has been rated one of the top childcare centres in New Zealand by the Education Review Office.

You will find us in the centre of the Arataki community only a couple of blocks away from the beach and a brief walk to Baywave for our tamariki to participate in swimming lessons.

We love to provide an environment where tamariki feel comfortable to explore and make discoveries along with their peers and kaiako. We acknowledge that each child is an individual and as such we nurture them to support them to grow and develop and be their own hero. Tamariki practice mindfulness during the day to help self-regulate, resolve conflict and to relate to each other. You will often see our tamariki engaged in yoga, mindfulness practices and respect and care for one another.
