Discover our unique rooms

Hudsons Room(0-1 year olds)

In our Hudsons Room 0-1 year olds, we place respect at the heart of everything we do. We see even our youngest pēpi as capable and unique individuals, and we take great care to respond gently and thoughtfully to their needs. Every smile, cry, and gesture is a form of communication, and we honour these cues with warmth and attentiveness.
Our kaiako create calm, unhurried moments during daily routines such as feeding, nappy changes, and settling to sleep. These times are not just tasks to complete, but special opportunities to connect, build trust, and help your baby feel safe and loved.
We provide a nurturing environment that feels like a second home—one where your baby is cherished, comforted, and encouraged to explore at their own pace. Respectful care builds the strong foundation for relationships, belonging, and a joyful start to their learning journey.
We are honoured to be part of their first precious year of growth.

Hueys Room(1-2 year olds)

In our Hueys Room 1-2 year olds, respect continues to guide all our care and teaching as your toddler begins to take big steps in their learning journey. At this age, children are curious explorers—testing ideas, building independence, and developing their sense of self. Our kaiako walk alongside each child, supporting them with patience, warmth, and understanding as they discover the world around them.
We recognise that toddlers thrive when they feel secure and respected. That’s why our routines are predictable yet flexible, allowing us to follow each child’s lead while providing consistency and reassurance. From mealtimes to play, every moment is an opportunity for connection, learning, and relationship-building.
Our environment is thoughtfully designed for safe exploration, creativity, and play, while also giving toddlers space to practice important skills like making choices, using their voice, and building friendships. Respectful guidance helps them to grow confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging within our centre whānau.
Your child is supported to take each new step with aroha, encouragement, and the knowledge that they are valued for exactly who they are.

Vincents Room(2-3 year olds)

In our Vincents Room 2-3 year olds, respect remains at the heart of all we do as your child’s independence and curiosity blossom. This is an age of rapid growth—where children begin to express themselves more strongly, experiment with problem-solving, and develop friendships. Our kaiako nurture these milestones by listening closely, guiding gently, and celebrating each child’s unique way of learning.
Daily routines are opportunities for children to make choices and practice new skills, while our environment is designed for safe discovery and imaginative play. Respectful care gives toddlers the confidence to explore, the security to try again, and the joy of knowing they are deeply valued.

Venturas Room(3-4 year olds)

In our Venturas Room 3-4 year olds, we continue to honour children as capable and competent learners who bring their own ideas, strengths, and personalities to our centre whānau. Respect shapes how we support this exciting stage of development, where imagination takes flight and social skills flourish.
Our kaiako encourage children to explore, question, and collaborate with others, while also guiding them to express their feelings and solve challenges in respectful ways. Through play, storytelling, and shared projects, children grow their creativity, language, and sense of belonging in the group.
Here, every child is supported to take pride in who they are, while developing the confidence and resilience to take new steps in their learning journey.
