BestStart’s Set for School programme supports children with a smooth transition to primary school. We partner with families to develop pre-literacy, numeracy, independence, and self-help skills, helping children build the confidence they need for the next stage of their learning journey. We also foster connections with the local community, supporting children as they prepare for life both at school and beyond.

We provide all meals at our centre, with a menu available for parents to view. Our cook ensures children are served a variety of tasty, healthy and balanced meals, tailored to the community and children’s individual needs, such as allergies and food requirements.

Our regular excursions into the local community provide children with meaningful real-world learning experiences that spark curiosity, encourage sensory exploration, and build confidence. Through visits to local parks, community spaces, and places of interest, children develop a stronger sense of belonging, learn about the world around them, and build meaningful connections with the community they are part of.

Our Reggio Emilia approach celebrates children's natural curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. It emphasizes hands-on, project-based learning in a supportive dynamic environment guided by teachers. Children explore their interests through art, play, and discovery, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning.
