The Baby Room is set up to function like a small home. We have indoor and outdoor play environments, where children can learn and explore at their own pace. There is a kitchen for meals and bottles to be prepared and stored. A dedicated sleep room, with cots and floor beds, ensures that children are safe while sleeping. We also have space for parents to sit and breastfeed, or read a book to their little one. The room is planned with the children's care and well-being in mind. Small shelves, at children's eye level, allow children to explore the toys and resources that interest them. The deck outside with a built-in sandpit is a hub for fun and exploration. During the warmer months, messy play and water play are planned for the middle of the morning and after-sleep times.
Step into a space where you know your child is going to be loved and cared for by teachers who are passionate about children's growth and development. Our teachers have open conversations with parents about how they can support the routines and rituals you already have in place at home. Children under 1, have a notebook that is used to communicate what learning and routines have happened during the day, to give parents clear communication and peace of mind.

Our Centre is a home away from home. We build quality relationships with children, parents and whanau, so they feel safe within our space. We have a learning-focused culture and set up play-based learning experiences, where children can learn and explore their interests. Throughout our Centre, we ensure that children and parents feel a sense of "Whanaungatanga" because they are a part of our family and we respect and care for their wellbeing.

The Over Twos Room is set up with learning and exploration in mind. The room looks like a place where children can get ready for school and experience learning. Our room feels like a place where friendships and memories will be made, and learning will happen. Inside, we have tables set up with art, playdough, puzzles, and manipulative resources so children can engage in the learning that interests them. We also have areas dedicated to block play, reading and storytelling, and dramatic play. In the Outdoor environment, children can explore the sandpit, more art, gardening, water play, and messy play. Furthermore, we have a safe playground that can be altered to challenge children's physical development and encourage them to take risks.
Our classroom is inspired by a Play-Based Learning philosophy and we allow children to explore learning and experiences that are of interest to them. We have one circle time each day, which is dedicated to song, dance and stories, that link to the children's interests and learning focus. We embrace free play and encourage children to choose their own learning. At morning tea, we all sit together, and we have a "rolling kai" for lunchtime. In the afternoon, we transform our "mat room" into a sleep room, so children have a space to rest and recharge. Our teachers support parents with children's toilet and care routines.
