Pukeko Room(Babies)
Tui Room(Toddlers)
The Tui Room, located in the Tahi Building, caters to children aged between 2 and 3.5 years old. Teachers actively participate in children’s exploration and offer toddlers with learning experiences to enhance their wonder, amazement, curiosity, and communication. We encourage self-help skills such as toilet training, eating food by themselves, and communicating their needs to teachers.
Kiwi Room(3.5 - 4.5 years old)
The Kiwi Room can be found in the Rua Building and is a busy room catering to children from 3.5 to 4.5 years of age. The teachers support children by setting up resources specific to each child's interests, curiosities, dispositions, and search for knowledge. These children are encouraged to develop skills at their own rate and to understand their own abilities through unhurried learning spaces. There are opportunities for children to use communication skills and they are encouraged to express their learning needs to teachers.
Ruru Room(4.5 - 5 years old)
The Ruru Room, located in the Rua Building, is a dedicated space for children aged from 4.5 to 5 years of age. Teachers encourage learning opportunities and allow children to explore available resources, discover their capabilities, and prepare them for their transition to primary school. Independence is encouraged through long-term projects, curious conversations, informed decisions, responsibility, and preparedness to step into the next stage of their learning journey.
