At BestStart North Road we cater to children aged 3 months to 5 years old. Children are at the heart of everything we do and are a central part of our local community.
We have an open door policy to encourage a sense of community, you are always welcome to visit at any time! This goes for any of our current families, those wishing to join, or any members of our community!
We are guided by whanaungatanga, building and maintaining relationships with our community and local businesses – we partner with them whenever we can. Our team foster the diverse needs of each individual family and get to know their stories.
To bring a sense of community to our tamariki we go for regular excursions to different places in our community, helping tamariki become proud locals and establish an appreciation for their home town. Additionally, we have animals in our classrooms that children help care for as they practice taking responsibility and foster an appreciation for all
We are a small but passionate team who are dedicated to the best for our tamariki. Regular professional development means we keep our teaching practices as up to date as possible to provide the best outcomes for children in our care.
We have a robust learning environment that reflects our local curriculum; our natural landscape, land marks and local history which are all important parts of our history and identity. Our outdoor spaces are large and perfect for hands on exploring and discovering.
