Set for School
BestStart’s Set for School programme assists with a smooth transition to get children ready for primary school. We partner with families, encouraging pre-literacy and numeracy along with developing children’s independence and self-help skills.
Food and Nutrition – Lunch box only
We are a lunchbox centre, with parents supplying food for children throughout the day. Our centre is proud to hold a Gold Tohu Manawa Ora Healthy Heart Award for supporting healthy eating and physical activity for children and families.
Enviroschool
Our centre has a focus on sustainability across our curriculum and is proudly part of the Enviroschools programme. Teaching principles of kaitiakitanga (guardianship) and how children can be sustainable from an early age will help them embed these practices into their lives along with a deep appreciation of the environment.
