BestStart Oamaru Kindy, housed in a charming old villa, provides a homely and welcoming atmosphere for children and families.

The centre offers a large, sheltered, and private playground, encouraging children’s natural curiosity and exploration both independently and with their peers. Catering for children aged two to five years, we are licensed for 35 children and pride ourselves on fostering a supportive learning environment where children are valued as competent, capable learners. Our vision, "Learning as we play, growing as we learn together," reflects our commitment to partnering with whānau to meet each child’s individual learning and development needs, promoting independence, self-confidence, and essential life skills.
