Our outdoor environment is a treasured space designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of outdoor play. With areas for sand and construction play, climbing, running, and imaginative adventures, children explore at their own pace, learn alongside each other (ako), and develop confidence, independence, and empathy.
Quiet, sheltered spots foster reflection and manaakitanga (care), while open spaces encourage teamwork, shared experiences, and strong whanaungatanga (connections).
We strongly believe our outdoor play area is where children can be themselves, take safe risks, discover what they love, grow their confidence, and enjoy the joy of learning and playing alongside their peers while at Kindy.
