At BestStart Prestons, we believe learning should be FUN! Tamariki thrive through play, exploring their interests, and growing in a supportive, joyful environment. We’re passionate about building strong relationships with whānau and creating a space where children feel happy, valued, and excited to learn.
We honor the foundations of the land, once a place where food was produced and shared with the wider community. We recognize the land we live on as a valuable resource for our tamariki, teaching them to learn from it and respect it.
Our passionate group of long-standing kaiako are dedicated to responding to each child’s unique learning needs. We work closely with tamariki and whānau, creating strong relationships and supporting tamariki to reach their full potential.
We have four classrooms each intentionally set up for the developmental needs of each age group.
Playing with puppets is an amazing way to engage tamariki's creativity while developing important life skills such as motor skills, confidence, social skills, and expressing their emotions!
