In our infant and toddler room for children under 2 years old you will find our youngest tamariki engaged in a variety of learning experiences. Music and movement, messy play, and exploring our indoor and outdoor environment help children develop new skills and the confidence to explore the world around them, nurtured and supported by our kaiako.

Our center is licensed for 112 children and is divided into four separate learning spaces that cater to different ages and stages of development. Our rooms are designed to reflect important values such as aroha, manaaki, whanaungatanga, tuakana-teina relationships, ako, and Te Whare Tapa Wha, guiding our daily activities and interactions.
Tikitapu Room0-2 years old
Okareka Room2-3 years old
In this room, our tamariki are developing their self-help skills by learning to serve their kai. Their social skills are growing as they build positive friendships through play, creating their style of learning with a variety of experiences. Kaiako observes and supports this learning, using the natural rhythms and routines of the day.
Rotoiti Room3-4 year olds
In this room, our tamariki are driving their learning. They learn through trial and error, creating masterpieces, becoming more independent through play, self-help skills, and leading their learning at their own pace.
Tarewera Room4-5 year olds
Our 4-year-olds are becoming leaders, they are learning skills, becoming confident, and learning independence through group learning, independent learning, and developing essential skills for school and for lifelong leading.
