In Kakano we have an emphasis on nurturing our youngest tamariki and being in close partnership with whānau to support our infants into the first steps of their learning journey. Our nursery offers an excellent child to teacher ratio ensuring that quality, care and connection are felt for every child. The dedicated teachers have specialised knowledge and a passion for infant development supporting strong connections through individual care rituals and hands on sensory play opportunities. Our infants have a large indoor and outdoor space offering them the freedom and security to explore and develop the wonder of the world around them.

In Tupu our seedling connection continues as children are nurtured with quality teaching and opportunities to engage in rich and rewarding experiences. Offering a lower ratio enables a rich environment that is responsive to our toddlers' rapidly growing capabilities. Our inviting environment and teaching team provide a hands-on sensory approach to engage every learner through exploration, support social and emotional development and extend their learning and foster their creativity.

In Mahuri we offer a rich array of primarily play-based experiences that are led by children's individual interests, curiosities and imaginative thinking. The experienced teaching staff are engaging in these interests supporting children to make sense of their immediate and wider worlds through exploration, communication and representation. Our Preschool offers a large natural outdoor environment that enhances children's physical development. Our daily curriculum offers a robust Set for School programme as children are supported for their next educational steps by supporting the development of emotional resilience, critical thinking and social responsibility skills essential for their transition to primary school.
