Our Nursery is warm and nurturing with flexible, unhurried routines to ensure children feel safe and supported, giving them the confidence to explore and discover as they grow and develop. Within the Tohora Nursey is our "Nest" - our safe nurturing space for our non-mobile babies.
Our Tohora Nursery caregivers practice relationship-based care. We believe that it is important for every child to have a special person that they can form a respectful and trusting relationship with while following the individual needs of the child.

Our learning environments are warm and welcoming with age-focused resources to support each child's stage of learning and development. Our spacious outdoor areas are designed to allow children to explore and develop their motor skills and confidence in a natural, stimulating environment.
Tohora Nursery(0 - 2 years old)
Pāpaku Room(2 - 3.5 years old)
Our Pāpaku Room allows toddlers to explore and learn through play while engaging with age-appropriate resources. Within this learning environment, our kaiako incorporate more structure and routine such as set kai and sleep times.
Our indoor and outdoor environments are purpose-built to encourage exploration for toddlers to develop their independence and self-confidence skills while also playing together and building relationships.
Teko Teko Room(3.5 - 6 years old)
Our Teko Teko Room is purpose-built to facilitate the learning of our preschool tamariki and to support them in their transition to primary school. We incorporate our Set for School programme and teachers work with families in preparing your child for the next step in their learning journey.
