BestStart South Road is a warm, homely early learning centre in Hāwera, Taranaki.
Everything we do is grounded in our three learning priorities:
- He Kōrero (Communication)
- Manaakitanga (Kindness & Respect)
- and Whanaungatanga (Relationships)
These values shape the way we communicate with our tamariki and whānau, guide the kindness and care we show one another and our environment, and strengthen the relationships that make our centre feel like a whānau.
We strongly value respect and kindness and incorporate them into everything we do. Our tamariki help one another, support and encourage their friends and lend a hand or share a hug.
We have a spacious outdoor playground which provides countless opportunities for running, gardening, climbing and imaginative play. It’s a vibrant and active environment where children can challenge themselves, explore nature and enjoy the freedom of open space.
