Discover our unique rooms

Tūī Room(0–2 years)

In the Tūī akomanga, our pēpi are tenderly wrapped in aroha and manaaki from the moment they arrive. This is a calm, nurturing wāhi where gentle kaiako create a secure, loving environment – a place where tamariki develop deep whanaungatanga and a true sense of belonging.

Each pēpi is treasured as a precious taonga – unique and valued beyond measure. We respond to their individual rhythms with patience and respect, supporting their growth through soothing routines, quiet moments, and joyful play.

Like the tūī, known for its beautiful, distinctive song, our pēpi are encouraged to express their own voices in time, exploring the world around them with wonder, comforted by the warmth of aroha that surrounds them.

Kea Room(2–3 years)

Welcome to the Kea akomanga – a vibrant space where our tamariki begin to spread their wings, filled with curiosity and delight. Here, playful exploration is celebrated as they learn to navigate their world with growing confidence and joy.

Our kaiako nurture each child as a unique taonga, building strong whanaungatanga through everyday moments of connection and care. Tamariki feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and discover the magic in the little things.

Like the kea – clever, inquisitive, and full of spirit – our tamariki are encouraged to express their ideas, explore with their whole selves, and find joy in learning. This akomanga is a place where wonder meets guidance, and every child’s mana is honoured and uplifted.

Kiwi Room(3–4 years)

In the Kiwi akomanga, tamariki step into their power – standing tall and proud as they grow in independence and self-belief. This is a dynamic space where their voices are heard and their ideas celebrated.

Here, tamariki develop their unique mana motuhake, supported by kaiako who walk alongside them with aroha and encouragement. They are invited to make choices, lead their own learning, and deepen their understanding through play, creativity, and connection.

The Kiwi akomanga is alive with energy and possibility – a place where tamariki cultivate resilience and joy, building strong relationships that nourish their ngākau and spirit. It’s a community where every tamaiti is empowered to shine brightly in their own way.

Moa Room(4–5 years)

The Moa akomanga is a special wāhi where tamariki prepare to embrace kura with courage and excitement. Here, independence and strong friendships grow hand in hand, nurtured by a close-knit whānau of kaiako and peers.

This is a space rich in aroha and support, where tamariki develop not only the skills they need for school, but also the heart qualities – resilience, curiosity, and kindness – that will carry them forward.

Each tamaiti’s unique strengths and spirit are celebrated every day through meaningful play and purposeful learning. The Moa akomanga is more than preparation – it’s a place where childhood is treasured, friendships flourish, and tamariki are empowered to step confidently into their next chapter as joyful, capable learners.
