BestStart Whangamata

We love our small beach town on the Coromandel peninsula and we love embracing the relaxed beach culture of our community.

It is important for us to personalise learning for each of our children while also connecting them with their local community - so they learn how to connect with their wider world! Our families and tamariki come from Whangamata and the surrounding beaches such as Onemana, Whiritoa, and Opoutere. Our families enjoy spending time at the beach, taking life slow and are big fans of supporting locals and the community - all things we love too! 

Within our Kindy space, our Set for School programme ensures that families know what to expect for their children's transition to the next phase of their learning journey. Through a play-based curriculum, our programme seamlessly integrates learning that aligns to the NZ school curriculum, including literacy, maths, and science. Our BestStart environments are thoughtfully arranged to foster greater independence and support children in developing essential self-help and socio-emotional skills needed for school readiness.
