What a wonderful time we had at the BestStart Summer Carnival. Our tamariki embraced the day with so much enthusiasm, taking part in a vibrant range of fun and engaging activities.
From scooping and selling ice cream to tossing rings, shooting ping pong balls, riding the Toetoe Train, throwing bean bags, and enjoying colourful face painting, there was excitement everywhere. One of the biggest highlights was indulging in the yummy ice cream that brought smiles all around.
Throughout the day, we saw beautiful moments of whanaungatanga, with children laughing together, showing confidence as they tried new challenges, and supporting one another with kindness and teamwork. These shared experiences strengthen our sense of connection and remind us how special it is to learn and play as a community.
Events like this reflect our philosophy of nurturing strong Ngā hononga, where relationships between tamariki, kaiako, and whānau are at the heart of everything we do. Through meaningful and playful experiences, our children grow in ways that support their holistic development, building social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills in a natural and joyful way.
