The Weka room is a creative and nurturing enviroment designed to support our young tamariki moving from a nursery or home enviroment into a larger learning enviroment.
By responding to the needs of our two year olds we create a safe haven for them if they are feeling overwhelmed and an exciting, creative space when they are feeling brave.
Responding to our tamariki ages and stages we provide lots of opportunities to move their bodies, dancing, action songs and obstacle courses are part of our daily curriculum. In addtion to this we offer lots of sensory, construction and art based table table activities providing lots of opportunities for parrarell and collaborative play.
The tamariki will develop early friendships, social skills and problem solving skills. We would love for you to come and visit our lovely little whānau and see what opportunities we could offer to your tamariki!
