Celebrating Chloe at the BestStart Kauri Flats, what a beautiful morning to commemorate such an amazing woman. Chloe, with her unwavering dedication to building connections and fostering relationships, holds a special place in our hearts.

Therefore, in loving memory of Best Start's Co-founder Late Chloe Wright this week we celebrated doing many yellow-coloured activities. Yellow was Chloe's favourite colour.

Our tamariki had so much fun baking her honoured recipe of Lemon cake. We also cherished this moment by creating some yellow artwork such as yellow flower art, lemon painting, yellow paper chain and little yellow chick's activities.

Children love to celebrate this moment by making their cupcakes with yellow playdough activity and enjoying yellow colour water play. These provocations supported children to engage and learn alongside others.

On the 1st of December Late Chloe Wright's birthday, we all had a yellow dress-up day and enjoyed a very special morning tea for tamariki and kaiako.

Children seem to be proud of the efforts and dedication they showed in mixing, stirring, grating and icing the delicious lemon cake. What a beautiful saying from Chloe turned out to be true during this baking activity. "Sweetness comes from creating something for others."- Late Chloe Wright
