Early Reading Program at BestStart Jones Crescent Kindy

We are excited to share the success of our first trial early reading session at BestStart Jones Crescent Kindy, as part of our Set for School program.

Research shows that reading with children from an early age not only enhances their literacy skills but also strengthens their bond with parents, creating positive associations with books and learning. We strongly believe that parents’ involvement plays a vital role in their child’s reading journey, learning, and overall development.

We are delighted to share the success of our first trial early reading session at BestStart Jones Crescent Kindy, which is part of our Set for School program. This initiative aims to foster early literacy skills and prepare tamariki for a smooth transition to school.

Today’s fantastic turnout demonstrated the passion and commitment of our whānau in supporting their children’s education. Seeing parents engage in reading activities alongside their tamariki was heartwarming and reinforced the importance of shared reading experiences.

By incorporating early reading habits into daily routines, we can build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. We are grateful for the enthusiastic participation and ongoing support from our whānau, and we look forward to continuing these sessions to inspire a love for reading among our tamariki. Thank you for being an essential part of your child’s learning journey!
