At our centre, outdoor exploration is a cornerstone of our teaching philosophy. We believe that engaging with the world around us plays a vital role in children’s development - physically, socially, and emotionally. Lately, our little ones have had numerous opportunities to explore and connect with nature, and we couldn’t be more excited to share these experiences with you!

Each Friday, our children visit the library, diving into books and stories that spark their creativity and imagination. For our toddlers, the excitement has been centered around watching the road being built right near our centre. This real-life excursion provides them with a unique learning experience as they observe construction work and learn about how things are built. Not only are they gaining practical knowledge, but they are also developing an appreciation for the world around them.

Our toddlers also recently enjoyed a trip to the meadows, where they had a chance to enjoy a picnic lunch and engage in free play, discovering the beauty of nature in their own way. Meanwhile, our preschoolers also visited the meadows, where they relished the fresh air, explored their bodies through movement activities, and even practiced rugby!

These outdoor activities allow the children to develop gross motor skills, social connections, and teamwork while fostering a sense of independence and curiosity. Outdoor exploration is integral to our centre’s philosophy because it not only provides children with the chance to enjoy open spaces but also helps them build meaningful relationships with their peers, teachers, and the natural world. It encourages curiosity, promotes physical activity, and supports holistic development.

These excursions are not just fun outings - they are essential teaching tools that allow children to learn in a hands-on, engaging environment.
