Our friend Harold the Giraffe and Carleen visited the centre today, and the tamariki had an amazing time! The session was full of hands-on learning as we explored body anatomy and discussed how to keep ourselves healthy and strong.

Carleen and Harold guided the children through identifying different body parts. They even worked together to complete the “boy body” puzzle, which was a fun and engaging way to learn how our bodies work.

Harold also helped the children understand the importance of healthy food choices, drinking water, and staying active. The tamariki were excited, asked thoughtful questions, and proudly shared their knowledge.

To finish the visit, everyone received special stickers from Harold, which made their day. This interactive session supported learning around hauora, body awareness, and overall wellbeing. Our whānau were thrilled to see such an engaging experience, and we are grateful to Harold and Carleen for this meaningful visit.
