There is no better way to get to know BestStart Pinnacles than from a parent herself!

Jenny and her lovely 2 children, William (3) and Maddie (2) has been a part of BestStart Pinnacles since it opened.

Jenny was kind enough to do a little interview to tell us what she thinks of our centre.

  • What do you love most about Pinnacles?

The genuinely caring and dedicated team. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and kindness, and it’s clear the staff really love what they do. The fact that our children are excited to come to Pinnacles everyday speaks volumes.

  • How do you feel the teachers care for and support your child each day?

They’re attentive, nurturing, and really take the time to get to know each child individually. I feel so reassured knowing that our child is being supported emotionally, socially, and developmentally each day.

  • What’s something fun or exciting your child always looks forward to at Pinnacles?

The themed celebration days are such a highlight! So much thought and effort goes into them, from the amazing decorations to the costumes and creative activities, the theme flows through the whole centre. It creates such a fun, exciting atmosphere that the children absolutely love and always look forward to.

  • How does your child talk about their teachers and friends when they’re at home?

With so much joy and affection! It’s clear that strong relationships are being formed. We often hear about their friends, what songs they're singing, what they have created that day and what entertaining things their teachers have taught them.

  • What’s your favourite memory or moment your child has had here?

There are so many, but the excitement around the recent themed celebration days really stands out, our children come home buzzing with stories and couldn’t wait for the next one.

  • How do you see your child’s confidence and happiness growing at the centre?

Our children have really come out of their shell at Pinnacles. They’ve become more independent, socially confident, and have developed a lovely sense of routine and security. It’s beautiful to see.

  • What centre events or fun days have stood out for your family?

We’ve loved all the holiday-themed celebrations, especially the ones where the parents are involved as well. They bring such a festive, exciting energy to the centre and create memories our child will carry with them.

  • How do you find the communication from the teachers and the centre?

Very clear, thoughtful, and regular. The Storypark updates are wonderful, and the team is always approachable and happy to chat. We feel very in the loop.

  • What makes you feel proud to be part of the Pinnacles whānau?

The sense of genuine community. You can see how much love and effort goes into creating a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for every child and family.

  • In one sentence, how would you describe BestStart Pinnacles to another parent?

A warm, welcoming centre with a wonderful team who genuinely care and create such fun, engaging experiences for the children.
