Recently, we had an exciting visit from our local community police officer, who came to talk to us about keeping ourselves safe.
This hands-on experience gave our children the opportunity to learn about the important role police officers play in our community while also having a bit of fun trying on police gear and listening to the police car sirens!
Through an engaging discussion, our tamariki learned that police officers are here to keep us safe, help people in need, and make sure everyone follows the rules. This visit helped our children feel more comfortable and confident around police officers, understanding that they are here to protect and support us.
