Mo Cecil is a proud Cook Islands Māori woman, born and raised in Rotorua, and brings a warm and caring presence to our Nga Pēpi whānau.
Although this is her first role in early childhood education, Mo comes from a strong family background in the sector, and her natural connection with tamariki shines through in all that she does.
Before joining our team, Mo worked in aged care, where she developed a deep sense of empathy, patience, and dedication—qualities that now enrich her interactions with our youngest learners. Her gentle nature, nurturing approach, and calm confidence make her a valued member of our caregiving team.
Mo is relishing the opportunity to grow in this new role, building trusting relationships with tamariki, whānau, and her colleagues. She approaches each day with positivity and a genuine commitment to providing safe, loving, and responsive care. With her strong values, warm heart, and eagerness to learn, we see a bright future for Mo in early childhood education.
