What a fun filled busy learning year. Our children, whānau and teachers have worked as one, to up hold our vision of our centre which is our whānau in our community. We at BestStart Melling value working alongside our whānau and our community to strengthen our journey and learning for our children.
We at BestStart Melling have celebrated all the learning successes we have had with the support of our beautiful whānau who have supported us throughout the year. Our Christmas event was full of joy and endless laughter. This was a great time and opportunity for all of us to get together and celebrate not only the festive season but to celebrate the achievements we have achieved during the year. Our children and whānau loved exploring how to make their very own cupcakes at the cupcake station, getting their faces painted, having an animal balloon and creating a collaborative art collage puzzle of a Christmas tree.
The best part of the event was seeing our talented children perform Christmas carols which they have been learning for several weeks. Our Christmas event was such a perfect way to reconnect and strengthen our relationships with our families, our tamariki and with the team too.
