This week at Kindy, children’s curiosity ignited an innovative Science Exploration that transformed wonder into discovery and play into powerful learning. What began as a spark of interest quickly grew into a vibrant journey of experimentation, excitement, and working theories.

Our fireworks in a jar dazzled the children as colours swirled and danced through water. As they observed closely, children shared predictions, noticed changes, and talked about mixing, movement, and cause and effect. Science became something they could see, feel, and talk about.

With bubble snakes, learning stretched and raced through the air. Children explored length, speed, and breath power, comparing whose bubbles travelled the furthest and why. Laughter filled the space as mathematical thinking, oral language, and scientific inquiry flowed naturally together.

Our propeller planes lifted learning even higher. Children tested wind power, speed, and force, adjusting angles and strength to see what worked best. Each launch sparked reflection, problem-solving, and resilience as children refined their ideas and attempted multiple flights.

The excitement continued with balloon rockets, where children explored the power of air, teamwork, and communication. As rockets zipped along strings, children investigated motion, direction, and energy, working together to test theories and celebrate discoveries.

Throughout the week, children were positioned as scientists, innovators, and thinkers—asking questions, collaborating, and making sense of the world around them. This Science Exploration showed that when children lead with curiosity, learning becomes joyful, meaningful, and limitless.
