BestStart Botany Road is an early learning centre located in Botany, Auckland. We provide high-quality early education and award-winning childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

At BestStart Botany Road, our passionate and dedicated team strives to provide top-quality care and education to children from 3 months until they start school. With four spacious, age-appropriate classrooms and expansive play spaces, including a shared play area between junior and senior preschool rooms, we cater to each child's individual needs, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment that fosters independence and self-confidence.

Located in Botany, Auckland, BestStart Botany Road boasts large playground areas with natural trees that offer shade in the warmer months and warmth in the cooler months. These beautiful trees allow children to engage with nature and its ever-changing life cycle, enhancing their learning experiences through natural exploration.

Our centre follows the Te Whāriki (NZ Curriculum) in all classrooms, promoting strong relationships between children and teachers from the babies’ room to preschool rooms. Interactive and responsive communication supports growth and development, encouraging children to learn at their own pace through free play.

Our 'Set for School' programme ensures children are well-prepared for their next educational steps. We also engage with families, celebrating their cultures and achievements, and provide nutritious, well-balanced meals under our Healthy Heart programme, for which we hold a Silver Award.

I can not fail to mention the outstanding skills of the teachers, who helped our child blossom from a shy child to a confident and happy little boy.

I am very happy with the centre and care that my child gets, i feel that his teachers all know my child very well and take an interest in what he is doing both in and out of the centre. He has built friendships with some of the other children within the room and is always excited to go back the following day to see them. My child has a great relationship with all of the teachers. Overall this is a great centre.

Such caring and lovely people here, have 2 attending currently and the staff made the transition so easy, if you have a child that glues to you or a homebody, they help support you and the child. In no time, my child would run and wave bye to me and that's made me comfortable knowing he's happy there.

After looking at many daycares in the area, and having to pull my girls out of one that was awful, I was so happy to finally come across BestStart on Botany Road. They have been great right from the start, lovely teachers and competent administration. Very good at communicating with parents and always running fun activities and events for the children. They have also shown wonderful compassion and empathy towards me regarding some personal family matters, they've shown that they are always there and willing to help in any way they can. I would definitely recommend this centre to anyone I know.
