BestStart Manukau
BestStart Manukau is an early learning centre located in Manukau. We provide high-quality early education and award-winning childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Where culture comes to life
At BestStart Manukau, we provide care and support for families from our vibrant, multicultural community. Our centre is surrounded by beautiful trees and a lush garden, offering a peaceful space where children can connect with nature and learn through exploration. We care for children from 3 months old until they start school, offering full-day sessions from Monday to Friday.
Our philosophy is grounded in the four principles of Te Whāriki, New Zealand’s Early Childhood Curriculum, and guided by Te Tiriti o Waitangi. These values shape our approach and ensure holistic learning for every child. We focus on Aroha (Love), Manaakitanga (Respect), Whakamana (Empowerment), and Whanaungatanga (Relationships) in everything we do.
Our Team
Our teaching team is passionate about fostering a love for learning in children. Each teacher brings not only expertise but also genuine enthusiasm for providing play-based learning guided by Te Whāriki. They offer engaging and inspiring activities that help prepare children for school. Our amazing cook provides healthy and nutritious meals, following guidelines set by the Healthy Heart programme.
